Lake Mine, Mass City, Ontonagon County, Michigan, USA

This polished Datolite nodule has a subtle purplish/gray color with scattered small red spots which gives it a pink hue in places. The Lake Mine operated from 1909 until 1919 and produced 7.3 million lbs. Of copper.
