Mineral Specimen #814    Iridescent, Botryoidal Hematite

Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China

The botryoidal portion of this Hematite specimen has a mirror like luster. Additionally, there is a a nice iridescence which ranges from blue to yellow to purple. The specimen is in excellent condition although the botryoidal portion is on one side of the specimen and is one third of the total specimen.
