Mineral Specimen #770 Quartz Scepter with Bladed Hematite

Jinlong hill, Longchuan Co., Heyuan Prefecture, Guangdong Province, China

This specimen has two (or possibly more) generations of Quartz. This has formed a very unusual scepter on one of the crystals. The termination of this scepter is very gemmy and lustrous with unusual growth patterns. At the base of the Quartz crystals are bladed Hematite crystals. The specimen is in excellent condition. The base has been sawn.
