This Spessartine Garnet crystal is transparent and glassy. It exhibits an incredible reddish orange color with a high glassy luster. Stepped growth is dramatically visible. The specimen has been backlit for these photos. The color of this material changes a bit when lit by different light sources. These photos were taken under a CFL, under incadescent or natural lighting, the color is more red. The specimen is in very good condition. There is one small bruise and one area of attachement.
