Mineral Specimen #665    Tennessee Puddingstone

Tennessee, USA

This specimen consists of a conglomerate of pebbles of material grading from Chert to Jasper. The color varies from white through different shades of brown. One sides is composed primarily of light colored large pebbles and the other is composed of pebbles in a mix of colors and sizes. The specimen was collected and tumble polished by Mike Manning. Mike is a master at tumbling large pieces. He does not reveal the exact location from where this material is collected.
