This specimen is from near the Pacific Ocean in a rather exclusive suburb south of Los Angeles. Specimens were collected when the homes were being built in the area. Specimens are currently very difficult to collect although still available by climbing the cliffs at the edge of the ocean. This is a particularly large specimen. It is in very good condition with only a couple of broken blades which are only detectable by close observation.
