Here is something different from Laytonville which is best known for specimens of Deerite and Howeite for which is the type location for both. The specimen is composed of massive Graphite intermixed with Stilopmelane and few cubic crystals of brassy colored Pyrite. Please note: the old label was originally attached to the specimen but fell off during handling.
Condition: Composed of massive material.
Flaws: The Pyrite crystals are not complete.
