Scattered across the surface of this specimen are Uvite crystals colored red with Chromium. The color is dependent on the light source. Under natural and incandescent lighting, the color is quite red. Under CFL and LED, the color has more of an orange tint. The crystals are well formed and have a high, sparkly luster. Generally, the crystals are translucent but some of the smaller crystals are transparent. The Uvite crystals are scattered across Magnesite crystals which make up the majority of the specimen. The color of the Magnesite is white with a noticeable pink/orange tint due to micro inclusions of Chromian Uvite. The Magnesite crystals have a glossy luster and are translucent with a few of the smaller crystals being transparient. There are also a number of clear, doulbe termianted Quartz crystals with glassy luster in one area along one of the edges of the top surface of the specimen. These Quartz crystals are for the most part transparent with a few being water clear.

Condition: Very Good

Flaws: A few of the Quartz crystals are incomplete.
