1960s
An agate from the shores of Lake Superior which has been cut and polished. The banding is variable in width. The overall color is a light yellowish beige with bands of white, clear, gray and medium brown. On one edge, there is a band with a distinct red color which is also present across much of the outer, waterworn surface. The cut surface has a high polish.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There are some small cracks which are readily visible in the photos.
