Mineral Specimen #5940    Indicolite Tourmaline with Hexagonal Lepidolite

Karibib, Erongo, Namibia

2.6 x 2 x 1.9 cm

Sold

A Tourmaline crystal which has a very attractive blue color and very interesting habit with multiple termination faces. The color ranges from almost black at the base to indigo with layers of green near the topmost termination. The top half of the specimen is very gemmy with a good luster. There are small, pseudohexagonal light ta colored Lepidolite crystals on one side of the specimen. This is an extremely nice tourmaline specimen, especially for the location.

Condition: Very Good

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
