Mineral Specimen #5304    Moctezuma Agate with Peach Colored Quartz Center

Estacion Moctezuma, Mun. de Ahumada, Chihuahua, Mexico

Cut and Polished by Dan Langham prior to 1975

A beautifully colored Moctezuma Agate which was cut in polished sometime prior to 1975. The outer band is a butterscotch color and is translucent and transparent in places. The inner band is bight peachy pink/orange color. The druze Quartz crystal are a darker and pinker color than the inner band.

Condition: Fairly Good

Flaws: The Agate itself is in excellent condition with no cracks. However, the polish is inconsistent with a some light saw marks showing (which show more in the photos than in person).
