This specimen has an outer layer of Calcite which has grown upon underlying Calcite crystals in a epitaxial habit which has produced a multitude of parallel surfaces. The outer layer of crystals is a light pink color with a high, glossy luster. The specimen fluoresces a bright orange under UV, more so under SW than LW.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: The termination of the third largest crystal is cleaved and there is a small cleaved area near where the first and second largest crystals meet. Neither of these are noticeable and do not distract from the specimens appearance.
