Mina el Padre (Mina Esperanza), Mapimi, Durango, Mexico

The Hyaline Opal on the surface of this specimen has a very glassy appearance with a high luster. There are two habits present. For the most part, the Hyaline has a bubbly, glassy habit. However, there is one area which is a spray of crystal like shapes, possibly a pseudomorph. The color ranges from white to bright yellow/green. The Hyaline is clear and transparent where the bubbly habit and the green color is present and opaque in the spray like structure and the white colored areas.

Condition: Excellent

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
