Mineral Specimen #496 Heulandite
Le Palb, Fassathal, Tyrol, Italy
This specimen is a bright reddish orange color for which Heulandite specimens from the Fassa valley. The location listed on the Ward's label appears to be the Austrian name used prior to World War I, when this part of Tyrol was still part of Austria. The location, 'Le Palb', has not been used so long, that a Google search turned up nothing. The specimen is in very good to excellent condition.
