Erongo Mountain, Erongo Region, Namibia

The Beryl on this specimen varies from a light green with a hint of blue to light green to yellow. Many of the smaller crystals are arranged in radiating groups. The yellow crystals (Heliodor) are not usually found at this location. Surprisingly, the yellow crystals fluoresce under SW. The color is the same as under visible light, but fairly vibrant. The specimen is in good condition with no appreciable damage. Note the inclusions of Tourmaline in the larger Beryl crystals. There also appears to be some minor white Feldspar with the yellow crystals.
