2nd Sovietskii Mine, Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia

The Quartz on this specimen is a bright Orange color, quite unique to this location. The secondary growth which is colored from white to yellow is also Quartz. The base is composed of Sphallerite. The specimens stands on its own; these photos were taken without any stands or props. This specimen was collected in 1999. It is in fair condition, most of the Quartz crystals have snapped off, but a few still have their terminations.
