Twinned crystals of Calcite which are an off white color on a dark matrix which contains small, cubic Pyrite crystals. From a location from which specimens are seldom available. The quarry was once the world's largest slate quarry and is over a mile long (1.6 km) and over 1200 feet (370 m) deep. The quarry was first opened in 1770 and is still in operation.

Condition: Fairly Good

Flaws: Only about 1/3 of the surface of the specimen has extant crystals. On the crystals, there are a few small chips. Some of the crystals have internal cleaves/
