Dark gray, thin, bladed crystals of Hematite with a metallic luster have grown upon the surface of a Quartz crystal. Bright green Chlorite is included in the termination where it forms a partial phantom. A mass of chocolate brown inclusions with a sponge like appearance is present on one side of the crystal. The Quartz crystal is very transparent which allows the inclusions to be well observed. The surfaces of the Quartz have a high luster. Please note: the bright green material on the base of the specimen which can be seen in some of the pictures is not part of specimen but was a mounting tack most of which has now been removed.

Condition: Good

Flaws: The Hematite crystals are incomplete. The termination of the Quartz crystal is slightly bruised.
