Mineral Specimen #4414 Azurite with Curved Crystals

A very unusual specimen on which some of the Azurite crystals having a rare curved habit. Azurite crystals have grown on all sides of a curved knob of light peach/pink colored layered sandstone. The layers of sandstone are curved and in places have alternating layers of Azurite. The Azurite is a dark, midnight blue color with lighter colored edges where internal gemminess allows for transmitted light which is common for Azurite from Tsumeb. A very unique specimen.
Flaws: a few of the crystals exhibit some damage; the majority are in very good to excellent condition
