Chihuahua, Mexico

The Quartz crystals on this specimen are long and thin with just the last 1 or 2 mm forming the scepter. The color tends to be a brown to red brown grading into a purple at the sceptered termination. The crystals are clear with good luster. The rest of the specimen is covered with clear, lustrous Calcite crystals. The specimen is in very good condition with only two broken terminations (I had to use a loupe to make sure).
