Mineral Specimen #4234    Anglesite

Broken Hill Proprietary Mine, Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia

White to light gray colored Anglesite crystals cover one side of this specimen. The Anglesite has a high glossy luster. The specimen stands on one end without the need of a stand (see first picture). The Anglesite grades into an unidentified gray material on the back of the specimen which appears to be at least partially still composed of micro crystals of Anglesite. The specimen is in excellent condition with no appreciable damage.
