Mineral Specimen #393 Microcline Twin, Smoky Quartz, Chabazite and Epidote
Jietou, Wulian Co., Rizhao Prefecture, Shandong Province, China
This specimen has a very large Baveno twinned crystal of Microcline associated with opaque, jet black Smoky Quartz. Both the Microcline and Smoky Quartz are coated with a layer of green micro crystals of Epidote. There are also a number of small crystals of Chabazite which are a rich orange/brown color and have a pseudocubic habit.
