Small spheres of Pyrite cover much of a plate of white colored Quartz crystals. Only the largest Quartz crystals are exposed. On these, the Pyrite comes part way up the sides. The Pyrite has a bright metallic luster which gives the specimen good sparkle.
The specimen is in very good condition with the exception of a broken Quartz crystal near the edge of the specimen (at the center of the bottom of the specimen in the second photo).
