Ex. A. E. Seaman Museum, Ex. Lance Hampel

Unusual foliated layering of Hematite which has a highly metallic luster. The more common habit from this location is specular, but occasionally, this foliated habit is encountered. This is a particularly fine example for this habit. Please note: unfortunately the label from the museum has been misplaced. The specimen is in very good condition and very attractive.
