Jenipapo district, Itinga, Jequitinhonha valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil

This specimen consists of a Quartz crystal with inclusions of thin hair-like crystals of blue Elbaite Tourmaline giving the appearance of blue colored Quartz. The Quartz crystal has growth lines on most of it, but the back side (not pictured) looks like a healed fracture. The first three pictures were taken with a black background and the last two with a white background to show the color better. The specimen is in good condition.
