Two radiating sprays of sky blue Cavansite from the type location. Much lighter in color than the more common material from India. The specimen was collected in the 1960s. Cavansite was very rare prior to its discovery in India. One of the few minerals where the name is derived from the chemical constituents being Calcium, Vanadium and Silicon(cate).
