Mineral Specimen #2052 Hickoryite
Hickoryite is a form of fine grained Rhyolite which will take a polish. This specimen has concentric banding in colors ranging from orange/yellow to red brown to tan to white. There are also some interesting dendritic patterns on the unpolished side. The polish is fairly good, especially for a rhyolite, but there are some saw marks which are noticeable in the photos.
