A rather odd habit of Tourmaline with Elbaite surronding a core of Schorl. Because the side of the specimen has been broken, the change of Tourmaline species can be readily seen. The specimen has been glued onto a styrofoam pedestal on a styrofoam base which is in turn has been glued onto a 2 inch foldup box.
