A cluster of Hematite crystals which have grown in a roughly spherical shape. The largest crystal has quite a few beveled faces. A smaller crystal exhibits herringbone growth lines which appear to indicate twinning. The color is very dark gray almost black and exhibits a very high metallic luster. This is an older specimen from a now closed location. The specimen is in fairly good condition but there is some chipping on the edges which can be seen in the photos actually, the chipping is less noticeable in person).
