Mineral Specimen #1214    Antlerite

Chuquicamata Mine, Chuquicamata District, Calama, El Loa Province, Antofagasta Region, Chile

Cu3(SO4)(OH)4

The Anterlite is the bright emerald green material. It appears this is some type of pseudomorph. The habit is reminiscent of Gypsum. Some the material is black and is presumably another mineral species.
