Mineral Specimen #1183 Wulfenite
Broken Hill, Yancowinna Co., New South Wales, Australia
This specimen has a number of choice, small, yellow/orange Wulfenite crystals. The crystals are quite gemmy and have a high luster. A couple of unusual habits are present. Some of the crystals have a shape similar to Garnet crystals. The Wulfenote crystals are highlighted against the dark matrix. The crystals on the side of the specimen shown are all in excellent condition. There are more crystals on the other side, but not as many and a few are damaged.
