Garnet Ledge, Wrangell, Wrangell Island, Wrangell-Petersburg Borough, Alaska, USA

This is a fairly large Almandine crystal for this location. The color is redder when observed in person. The specimen is in fairly good condtion, although there is some small fracturing on one corner which is easily seen in the photos.
