Mineral Specimen #1169 Ram's Horn Selenite
Chihuahua, Mexico
A twisted growth of Gypsum/Selenite. Very hard to capture the three dimensional spiral like shape of the specimen (not to mention measure). The specimen appears to be composed of long parallel crystals bundled together. The color is a bit off white with a bit of brown color. Some of the surfaces sparkle. It is in very good condtion with no appreciable damage.
