A very interesting Quartz specimen with numerous fingers which exhibit a reddish brown interior which is persumably Hematite or some other iron oxide/hydroxide. When backlit, the fingers appear to glow from within wth this reddish color. The fingers are completely covered with small Quartz crystals. These crystals have a high luster and are composed almost entrirely of terminations, giving them a pyramidal appearance. The specimen is in good condition. There are two broken fingers, one of which is on the side of the specimen. This breakage is not obvious and does little to distract from the appearance of the specimen.
