Chimney Rock Quarry (Bound Brook Quarry), Bridgewater Township, Somerset Co., New Jersey, USA
A single, large, well formed crystal of Natrolite. This particular location is a classic location for such crystals. There is an overlayer of druzy crystals on much of the specimen which is persumably Calcite. The Natrolite is quite clear and gemmy. The termination is pyramidal. The specimen is in good condition; although there is a small chip from one of the edges of the termination and a larger one on one side near the base.
