Mid 1960s
This Tourmaline is colored a light olive green color, a rich pink flat termination and a light pink interior in the bottom half of the crystal. The crystal is quite gemmy although there are internal fractures perpendicular to the C axis. There are some small lilac colored Lepidolite crystals near the base. Specimens from this mine are seldom available; this specimen was mined in the mid 1960s. The specimen is in good condition although there are some minor chips on the edge of the termination and one of the fractures is noticable.
