Mineral Specimen #1101    Fluorite and Barite

Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China

This specimen is composed of deep, dark purple colored Fluorite crystals with contrasting orangish colored Barite. The largest Fluorite cubes are 8 mm across. The Fluorite has a high luster. The specimen is in fairly good condition with some minor wear on a few edges.
