Lakebed of Lake Superior near Copper Harbor, Keweenaw County, Michigan
A thin slice of Datolite which is from a vein of Datolite. This was collected by a scuba diver from the lakebed of Lake Superior offshore not far from Copper Harbor. The color is off white with white around the edges and along one seam. On the edge of the white, the color has pink tones. The specimen has a high polish.
