Mineral Specimen #1024 Prehnite pseudomorphs after Laumonite

A very dramatic shaped specimen with Prehnite pseudomorphed over later dissolved Laumonite blades. Actually, this is technically a cast. The color of the Prehnite is an attractive light green and has a high luster. There is a bit of Calcite on the bottom which appears to have been etched with acid, persumably in the preparation of the specimen. The specimen is in good condition even though some of former Laumonite blades are broken on the end.
