This is a very attractive specimen. The top layer of Quartz is a fine druze with a nice sparkle. Below this, is a layer of Hematite which gives the specimen a light reddish brown to almost peach color. The Hematite layer is more pronounced on one side of the underlying Magnesite crystals. This gives a contrast between these sides and the lighter tops and other sides of the crystals. The specimen is in very good condition with only one Magnesite being cleaved. This is on the edge of the specimen and easily seen in the photos.
